Questions about this kit
Is paint included with the Mine Shaft kit?
No, paint is not in the box. That keeps the kit flexible for school marking rubrics and your own colours. Ordinary acrylic craft paint or markers work well, and it is often easier to paint smaller parts before final assembly.
Is glue included?
Yes, a 10 ml bottle of wood glue is in the box. Dry-fit the parts first, use a small amount of glue at the joints and let it dry properly before moving on.
Does it need batteries?
No. This kit has no motor, lamp or other electrical parts, so no batteries are needed.
How long does it take to build?
Simpler school kits take a few hours over one or two sittings, and larger structures or multi-stage builds can take a weekend or several Technology periods. Leave extra time for painting, testing and the PAT write-up. WhatsApp 081 544 3750 if you need a time estimate for this kit.
Can I return the kit?
You have 30 days after receiving your order to ask for a return. The kit must be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Contact us first on hello@wowwe.co.za or WhatsApp 081 544 3750 with your order number, because parcels sent back without a return request can't be accepted. Opened kits used for a school project are generally not returnable. If a kit arrives damaged or you get the wrong item, let us know straight away.
Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes, but collection is by prior arrangement only. We are a manufacturing and online base, not a walk-in shop. We are at 3 Bloeisel Avenue, Edleen, Kempton Park.
