Wow We FAQ — School Kits, Models & Shipping
What does Wow We make?
Wow We makes laser-cut 3D wooden models, puzzles, and school project kits. Popular lines include STEM school kits, dinosaurs, vehicles, aircraft, Star Wars models, and craft boards — designed and manufactured in South Africa.
Are the school project kits suitable for Grade 7 / PAT?
Yes. Kits such as the Electromagnet Crane (SP_03A), Jaws of Life (SP_01), and Bridge (SP_05B) are commonly used for technology and PAT-style school projects.

What age are the kits for?
It depends on the kit. School project kits suit learners with adult/teacher guidance. Puzzle and hobby models suit kids through adults — check each product page for notes. WhatsApp +27 81 544 3750 if you need a recommendation.
What material are the kits made from?
Most kits use precision laser-cut wood / MDF components. Always follow the product instructions and supervise younger builders. Parts are craft materials, not toys for unsupervised toddlers unless the product says otherwise.
Do you have stock for schools and bulk orders?

Is paint included with Wow We kits?
Most Wow We school project and 3D model kits arrive as laser-cut wood pieces ready to assemble. Paint is usually not included — that keeps the kit flexible for school marking rubrics and for hobbyists who want their own colours. Use ordinary acrylic craft paint. If a specific SKU includes paint or a finish, it will say so on that product page.
Is glue included?
For our school project kits, yes, when the kit needs glue. School kits that are glued together (for example the Mine Shaft, Jaws of Life, Syringe Excavator, Cell Phone Tower, Bridge and Human Skeleton) come with wood glue in the box, usually a 10 ml bottle. Some school kits need no glue at all: the Electromagnet Crane slots together with tight-fitting dowels, and the Brain Boltz kits (such as the Grain Crusher and Catapult / Trebuchet) and the Electric Circuit kit bolt together. Our 3D wooden models and puzzles do not include glue; use ordinary white wood glue (PVA).
Are batteries included?
For our school project kits, yes, when the kit needs batteries. The Electromagnet Crane comes with 4 x AA batteries and its battery pack, and the Electric Circuit kit comes with 4 x AA batteries and a 4 x AA battery holder. Most other school kits (structures, hydraulics and mechanisms) have no electrical parts, so they need no batteries; the hydraulic kits only need clean water for the syringes. Always follow the assembly guide before connecting power.
How long does a kit take to build?
Build time depends on the kit and the learner’s age. As a rough guide for school project kits: simpler mechanisms often take a few hours across one or two sittings; larger structures or multi-stage builds can take a weekend or several Technology periods. Allow extra time for painting, testing, and the PAT write-up. WhatsApp +27 81 544 3750 if you need a time estimate for a specific SKU.
What is your returns policy?
Unused kits in original condition can usually be discussed for return or exchange — contact us before sending anything back. Opened kits used for a school project are generally not returnable. Message WhatsApp +27 81 544 3750 or email hello@wowwe.co.za with your order number.
