What’s in a Wow We school project kit? Paint, glue & batteries
What’s usually in the box
Wow We school project kits are manufactured in South Africa for Technology / PAT-style projects and hobby builds. A typical kit includes laser-cut wooden parts for that model, small hardware where the design needs it (axles, syringes, magnets, motors, etc. — depends on the SKU), and access to assembly guidance on wowwe.co.za.
Always check the exact product page for your SKU (for example Electromagnet Crane SP_03A, Jaws of Life, Bridge, Hydraulic Jack). Contents differ by mechanism.
Is paint included?
Usually no. Kits arrive ready to assemble as wood. Schools often prefer learners to finish and paint to the brief. Acrylic craft paint works well. If a listing includes paint or a finish pack, it will say so on that product page.
Is glue included?
Usually no. PVA / white wood glue is enough for most joints. Follow the assembly PDF for any special adhesive notes.
Are batteries included?
Usually no. Motorised or electronic kits list the battery type on the product page. Fit batteries only after the build steps say so.
How long will it take?
Plan a few hours for simpler kits, or a weekend / several periods for larger structures. Leave time for testing, decoration, and the written PAT component.
Who is this for?
Grade 7 Technology learners, parents supporting PAT projects, and teachers ordering class sets. Browse guides on our School Project Guides and the For Teachers page.
